Going Extinct

Going Extinct

Interesting stuff!

United

Image     I don’t get the whole “gingers have no souls” thing. I know that it started on South Park, and that gingers are portrayed as soulless creatures who can’t come in the sun. We are a lot more than that. The redheads I know actually like the sun and would prefer to be outside than inside but those are based on indivisual opinions.
I’m not offended by the jokes made about gingers at all, I actually find them funny. What I have realized is that gingers that I hang around and know is that we like to dance or cheer. I always come to find that minorities like gingers as well, and it’s okay to say that because gingers are probably one of the smallest minorities on the planet. At least when we are together I feel united.

History in the Red Eye

One of the most known redheaded actresses that people think of is Lucille Ball, or Lucy from I Love Lucy. She was one of the first female lead roles in a television series and poeple loved her. With her Imagegreat sense of humor and physical comedy she became world-wide known. Starting in 1934 she did a large variety of shorts and uncredited projects but then in 1953 she got her big break as playing Lucy Ricardo. When they realized how big the show had gotten they did Christmas specials and everything like that. Just like regular people, gingers are comedic, they just get really red in the face when they laugh.

Personality

“Nobody who has known a redhead can say that redheads are tame. Even shy redheads have a burning spark of adventure inside them. Opinionated, hotheaded, logical, loyal, friendly, reserved, whatever the redheads’ personality, you can bet they’ll have SCADS of it!”-Review of The Redhead Encyclopedia

I believe this is true.

Ginger Danger!!!

Image

Lizzie Borden took an axe,

And gave her mother forty whacks,

When she saw what she had done,

She gave her father forty-one.

That is the children’s rhyme that was created after the trial of Lizzie Borden in 1893. She was accused of murdering her parents by whacking them with an axe. Although the picture is in black and white, she is a redhead. A very crazy one at that.

Perfection

Image     Redheads have fare skin so blemishes come up easily. The majority also has curly hair. So how can the actresses like Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Emma Stone, etc. have perfectly white porcelain skin and non frizzy red hair? Well it must be the movie magic with the hair stylists and make-up artists. Becasue it’s almost impossible to find a foundation that doesn’t make you look either like a ghost or an orange. I can’t even brush through my hair without it looking like I got shocked by lightning.

Hello

I have heard that gingers are going to go extinct within the next couple of decades if we don’t populate together. Although I don’t think that is true, there are some things that having red hair make us different. Such as, easier exposure to sunlight so higher chance of skin cancer. I have also been told that we take a longer time to heal from injuries. I don’t worry about these things really but I do find them interesting. At least I’m easy to find in a crowd.
